I don't really understand, 'cause I don't know what it's like for you. I'm a Manakete, not an Arbiter and not a human. So I don't really understand and I don't think I ever will. But it sounds like that wasn't really the right decision to make. Offering her a choice like that is pretty cruel, isn't it? I think I would have done the same thing if I was her. I would have sacrificed myself to save someone I really care about.

But that doesn't necessarily mean that she was a good person either. I don't know and I don't have any way of knowing that.

Maybe Arbiters aren't anything like humans or Manaketes, but we make mistakes. A lot of mistakes sometimes. And sometimes those mistakes are really, really bad. Sometimes they get people killed.

[She tips her head a bit.]

I don't think what you did was right. I feel really bad for that girl. But I still really, really like you, Ginti. I'm glad you told me about this. Is there anything I can do to help?
