❥ SECOND DRAGONSTONE | ACTION [ANYWHERE] | FOURTH WALL

[Nowi's a pretty easy-going girl. She's also ridiculously curious, and since she's been (presumably) teleported to somewhere other than Cherrygrove, she's got a lot to explore. She'll be up in the trees, searching through the tall grass for Pokémon, or even exploring the city, if she's lucky enough to land in one. The only noticeable difference are Nowi's ears - they're no longer round and human, but instead long and pointy. But her curiosity dies the moment she sees something familiar.

Something very familiar.]

Oh no... What are you doing here!?

[The thing moans, but that's not exactly a helpful response. Nowi narrows her eyes and reaches to her belt for a Pokéball. Instead she comes away holding something she's been missing for awhile.

Her eyes light up immediately and she holds the Dragonstone above her head. Pink petals burst from the ground and surround her and when she emerges she's no longer a tiny girl - she's a dragon. The transformation looks like something from a magical girl series.]

Yeah! This feels soooo good!

[Her voice is a bit distorted, but it still obviously belongs to Nowi. She does a few flips in the air before remembering that the Entombed is still standing there.]

Oh, right! Hey, you! Let's go already!

[She rears back and releases a blast of fiery dragon breath. It slams right into the golden creature, but it doesn't seem fazed at all.]

Uh oh...

[Alternatively, you can run into her after she's beaten up the Entombed and is currently flying around as a dragon. Because that's not going to scare anyone or anything.]

Get back, you... whatever you are!

[The sudden shout from nearby is accompanied by a blast of purple energy that slams into the Entombed, with no more visible effect than Nowi's dragonfire.

The source of both is...

Well, Nowi, there is now a purple unicorn pony coming to help you take on this zombie. This is a thing that is happening.]

[Of course it's not going to scare anyone. Especially not squishy humans flying around in jet-like giant robots. Definitely not.

...At least he only reacts with a few warning shots?]

[Luckily, Jimmy ends up finding himself where Nowi is after the Entombed has been taken care of. It doesn't take him long at all to notice the dragon flying overhead, and at first he can't figure out if it's a Pokemon he's just never seen before or not. Clearly, he's going to have to get a closer look to see.

So eventually, Nowi might spot a Noivern flapping his way up to where she is in the sky with Jimmy seated at his shoulders, hands gripping tightly at the white fluff around his neck.]

Not too fast, Pip! Don't forget I'm up here!

[invigorating]

[Nowi turns to glance at the newcomer and immediately zips over. Don't worry, that Entombed will be taking a little while to get over here. They're pretty slow...]

Oh gosh, is that you, Twilight? You're so pretty!

[invigorating]

[WHOA WHAT THE HECK IS THAT???

Nowi dodges the shots and moves to examine the thing, because that's not going to result in getting shot at all.]

Hey!! Stop it! You almost hit me, you jerk!

[She still sounds like Nowi, though her voice is a bit distorted.]

[invigorating]

[Oh wow, what a cute Pokémon! Nowi circles around it a few times before coming to a stop in front of it.]

Hi, Jimmy! Wow, you've got a really cute Pokémon! Where'd you get him? Or her?

[That's definitely Nowi's voice, though it sounds a little odd because she's a dragon.]

[Wait wait wait what. That voice. He's heard that voice before. He's heard that voice talking about dragons and- oh. Oh.

Mobile suits aren't exactly good for conversations, though, so he'll just have to go back to humanoid mode, open the hatch, shout a lot, and pray she doesn't roast him at any point during the maneuver.]

Sorry about that! Didn't realize it was you! I guess those limits on non-human forms don't apply today?

[The Noivern lets out a low trill at the praise while he keeps himself aloft in front of Nowi.]

Oh, I've had him since- ...

...Nowi?! Nowi, is that you?

[invigorating]

[Nowi watches the transformation in awe, so thankfully she doesn't even think of trying to roast the person who emerges.]

Oh-- Hi! Wow, you've got a really cool flying-thingy! But yeah, I just found my Dragonstone today and my ears are back to normal so I figured I could transform again!

[invigorating]

Yep, of course it's me, silly! Who else has such an awesome ability?

[She laughs, which somehow works despite her being a dragon. Don't question it.]

Wow! You look so cool!

[Pip nods in agreement. He's certainly never seen anything quite like Nowi before, but being a dragon/bat thing he can appreciate a fellow dragon.]

[Good to hear. Surviving dozens of battles against dragon-shaped mobile suits only to be killed by a real one would have been embarrassing.]

Thanks. Looks like this really is the best day to find lost belongings around here. Don't get too used to it, though; it never lasts.

Thanks! I'm pretty fond of this form; I've really missed it!

[As if in demonstration, Nowi pulls a backflip and returns to flying level with Pip.]

So what kinda Pokémon are you?

[She can't understand him, of course, but Nowi feels the need to ask him anyway.]

[invigorating]

What? Really? You mean I've gotta give this up again? But that's...

[Nowi sounds upset, but she doesn't really look it. It's kind of hard for a dragon to look sad...]

That's awful! I've really missed this! I don't wanna go back!

...Yeah, I know. I get it.

[Alright, losing your livelihood and passion isn't quite the same as losing a part of yourself, but he still understands some of it.]

You still have three or four days, though. Enjoy every single second of them, make the memories last until autumn. These weekends don't last, but they always come back.

[Aw man, now he wants to show off too...but if he tried a stunt like that, he might very well deposit his rider without meaning to. He gives a chirping growl in response, to which Jimmy translates (or, translates what he assumes Pip said, anyway).]

He's a Noivern! They're part dragon-type Pokemon, really cool!

She has no idea what is going on today but that is probably the coolest thing she has ever seen in her life.]

Go dragon go! Kick his butt!

Autumn? You mean this will happen again? I'll get to be a dragon again? Even if it is only for a little bit?

[Nowi sounds like she's brightened up a lot already.]

[SHE WISHES SHE COULD FLY FREELY WITH HIM... Maybe next fourth wall she'll have something capable of flight!!]

Oh wow, so he's a dragon too! What a cutie-pie! Jimmy, you've got so many great Pokémon!

[invigorating]

[IT'S SUPER COOL except when Nowi just sort of floats there, waiting for the zombie to counterattack. It's just one of those Fire Emblem things, apparently.

She does notice the shouting though and blasts the Entombed again to give herself some time to come talk.]

Thanks! He'll probably follow after me in like, a few minutes, so I'll lead him away then, but wow, I didn't know anyone was watching! I don't think we've met before; my name's Nowi!

Well, this is the forth time I've been through this in two years; twice during spring, twice during autumn. Chances are the pattern won't change too much.

[He hopes.]

Oh wow, that's great! I mean, it's not perfect, but it's better than being stuck as a human forever!

[Nowi pulls a backflip again. She's definitely going to miss this, but at least it won't be forever!]

You said I've got a few days, right? Then I'll make use of it! I'll be a dragon the whole time!

Hopefully my Dragonstone doesn't break...

Maybe you could put it in a padded box and hide it in a safe? I mean, today it might not actually help all that much, but it's still better than nothing, right?

Oh gosh, that's not what I mean! Though it is a good idea, so I'll probably see if I can do something like that...

But no! Weapons break when you use 'em too much, right? Dragonstones are no exception!

[His video game version has completely different mechanics. Questioning everything can't be helped.]

...Mobile suits have a higher chance of getting shot down if you use them often, sure, but every other problem linked to usage should be caught be the maintenance crew long before anything breaks. Then again, how would you even maintain a stone?
