[Nowi's a pretty easy-going girl. She's also ridiculously curious, and since she's been (presumably) teleported to somewhere other than Cherrygrove, she's got a lot to explore. She'll be up in the trees, searching through the tall grass for Pokémon, or even exploring the city, if she's lucky enough to land in one. The only noticeable difference are Nowi's ears - they're no longer round and human, but instead long and pointy. But her curiosity dies the moment she sees something familiar.

Something very familiar.]

Oh no... What are you doing here!?

[The thing moans, but that's not exactly a helpful response. Nowi narrows her eyes and reaches to her belt for a Pokéball. Instead she comes away holding something she's been missing for awhile.

Her eyes light up immediately and she holds the Dragonstone above her head. Pink petals burst from the ground and surround her and when she emerges she's no longer a tiny girl - she's a dragon. The transformation looks like something from a magical girl series.]

Yeah! This feels soooo good!

[Her voice is a bit distorted, but it still obviously belongs to Nowi. She does a few flips in the air before remembering that the Entombed is still standing there.]

Oh, right! Hey, you! Let's go already!

[She rears back and releases a blast of fiery dragon breath. It slams right into the golden creature, but it doesn't seem fazed at all.]

Uh oh...

[Alternatively, you can run into her after she's beaten up the Entombed and is currently flying around as a dragon. Because that's not going to scare anyone or anything.]

[It's taken like four attacks to knock this thing down to the ground, but with a final fiery blast Nowi finishes the Entombed off. It sinks into a puddle of goop and fades. Which should probably be alarming, but Nowi takes it in stride, pulling off a backflip in the air.]

Haha! That's for daring to show up here!

[It doesn't take her long to notice that she's got an audience though, and she turns her attention to a very familiar person.]

Ginti!!

[...that sure does sound like Nowi's usual happy shout whenever she sees her favorite bartender.]

[You know, he should probably be shocked at that or something, so he's a little...not sure what to think of the notion that he's actually kind of relieved by this? I mean yeah, she's a fucking dragon, but this also means she's not actually a normal twelve-year-old trying to fuck with his head.

...Wait.]

Nowi, that had better not have been that potato sack thing you were telling me about!

[She approaches, but even Nowi knows better than to bodyslam into her friend as a dragon.

And of course she's not a twelve-year-old trying to fuck with his head, she's over a thousand years old, duh!!!]

Oh no, of course not! That's a golden potato sack thing! They're much stronger!

[...Thank you for not slamming into him.]

...Right. A golden potato sack thing.

[What the hell is his existence anymore.]

So I see you've gotten some fun stuff back too.

[It's a very important distinction to make, Ginti!! The golden ones give more EXP!!]

Yeah! I've got my Dragonstone and my ears and obviously I'm a dragon right now, so everything's great again!

[...........wait.]

"Too"? Did you get something back, Ginti?

You're not the only one around here who isn't human, remember. I just look a lot closer to one.

[As close though his usual appearance is to human, though, his eyes look a lot less like hell, as far as he's concerned; the gold crosslike sigils in the center are back, as is the usual faint glow they tend to give off, his pupils tightly constricted at their centers.

...In other words, they're creepy as hell, but he likes them and the light brown he's had all this time is an ugly as hell color.]

So what's different about you? Oh no, is it something obvious and I'm just missing it?

[It's kind of hard to tell when she can't really get too close to him. Give her a second--

There's no flashy transformation this time, Nowi just sort of... poofs into her human form again. Her ears are longer and pointed (as they should be) but otherwise there's no change. She's even wearing the clothes she bought here and not her hideous outfit from home!]

Oh gosh, I really hope I didn't miss anything super obvious!

[...so she's just going to get up in your business and look for anything different. She's tiny though, so getting a good look at Ginti's eyes is going to be very difficult.]

Hey, hey - back up a bit, yeah?

[It's more the usual exasperation than being pissed off at the sudden invasion of his space, though, and he's pretty quick to relax, anyway.]

It's nothing obvious, though, that'd just be sad - we were designed to look pretty close to human. I've got a few tricks back, mostly.

[HE IS KIND OF IN A GOOD MOOD ABOUT THIS enjoy it while it lasts]

[That calms her down and Nowi takes a couple of steps back to give Ginti his space.]

So what kind of tricks? You've gotta show me, Ginti! C'mon, please?

...Sure. Like I've said, though, don't go telling everyone, okay? I don't care if people see me do it, but it's not like I want everyone in the world knowing.

Right! I won't tell a soul! It'll be our little secret!

[...she says very loudly. SHE'S TRYING, OKAY...]

[Ehhh, he did say he doesn't care if people see him do it; somehow he doubts the loudness is reaching anyone who didn't already see Dragon vs. Zombie, anyway, so it's not like what he's doing is all that bizarre by comparison.

His response to all that enthusiasm is to back up a bit, though, for space's sake, before pulling out a pair of kokeshi dolls he always carries on his person; he's done it here too, because old habits die hard, even if he can't use them for their intended purpose. Opening them is easy, the movement natural; he releases the water inside them in the usual pattern, the streams crossing easily and forming orbs in front of him.

He doesn't shoot, though; he just kind of lets them hover there.]

Most people expect fire for some reason.

[It amuses him, though, kinda.]

I use 'em when people decide it's a good idea to get rough with me. I can shoot them, get some speed behind them; they're not going to kill anyone, but they're pretty good at getting people to lay off.

You're a mage! I didn't expect that. I thought you'd be like... um... maybe a mercenary? A thief? I dunno, something that uses swords or something.

[...She's talking about job classes, don't mind her.]

But wow, that's so cool! I've never seen anyone use water like that! But yeah, I would've expected fire. Maybe it's your hair? It does look pretty fiery.

No point in actual human weapons where I'm from. Everyone's already dead, remember? And arbiters can't die.

[The water dissipates quickly, vanishing off...somewhere; mage indeed, apparently.]

Oh yeah, that's a good point. But that's so cool! Maybe someday I'll get to see you fight with it, huh? I bet that'd be fun to watch!

Maybe, who knows.

I do some other non-combat stuff too - nothing like the dragon thing, though.

Like what? What else can you do?

I can look like other people, if I feel like it. That one I'm not showing you out in the open, but maybe later.

Wow, really?

[She realizes that she's being too loud, so Nowi drops her voice to a whisper. Well, it's a stage whisper at best, but she's trying really hard.]

So could you like, turn into me? Or anyone else you've seen here?

Yeah, if I felt like it. I can alter some minor stuff too - it's our eyes that look off, I don't like doing it but I can hide the marks in them to look more human. Things like that.

Your eyes?

[Nowi stands on her tiptoes to see if she can get a good look at them. She can't, so she immediately pouts.]

Lean down, I can't get a good look!

[...AS LONG AS YOU DON'T MIND IF HE ROLLS SAID EYES FIRST...

Oh wow...

[She's mesmerized by them for a moment before she clenches her fists and looks very excited.]

They're so cool, Ginti! I've never seen eyes like that before! They've got really awesome shapes and the colors are so pretty together!

[...Right, just...let him straighten up once all the excitement starts, damn.]

Yeah, so...that's what they usually look like.

[God, what the hell does he do with this, he doesn't usually get compliments like that.]

[But now she has to look up like a million miles to see them!!]

That's so neat! I kinda wish they were like that all the time; I could get lost in them all day!
